Morgan Landman, CPA, MBA, Senior Associate at SEK, CPAs & Advisors, has been selected as the 2023 Rising Star Award Winner by Cumberland Valley Business Alliance.

The Rising Star Award honors one young business professional who has been in their career for less than five years and who has shown tremendous potential in the field.

Morgan was honored at an awards ceremony on September 26 at Green Grove Gardens.

Morgan graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration with an Accounting concentration. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. Based in the Chambersburg office, Morgan joined SEK full-time in 2022 after three tax season internships with the firm. Morgan provides tax services to closely-held businesses, specifically Partnerships and S-Corporations. She specializes in the preparation of business tax returns and collaborating on projects related to the Employee Retention Credit. Since she started, she has continued to prove her growth trajectory and earned a promotion from Staff Associate to Senior Associate this past July.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Morgan is a member of the firm’s Emerging Professionals Committee. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and being outdoors, especially in the summer.
