SEK Wins Two Categories in Tri-State’s Best Awards

SEK, CPAs & Advisors won two categories in Herald Mail Media’s Tri-State’s Best Awards for 2022: SEK was voted Best Accounting Firm and William F. Fritts, CPA, CVA, Member of the Firm, was voted Best Accountant

In the newspaper’s annual Tri-State’s Best Awards, readers nominate and vote for their favorite businesses and business professionals.

This is Bill’s fourth time receiving the Best Accountant title, previously winning this award in 2017, 2019, and 2020. In 2021, Manager Hillary M. Grove, CPA, was voted Best Accountant. SEK has held the Best Accountant category for four consecutive years.

Bill joined SEK in 1996 and was admitted as a Member of the Firm in 2001. He serves a Member-in-Charge of the firm’s Hagerstown office and leads the Accounting Services and Tax Department. He provides accounting and tax services to a wide spectrum of businesses and individuals, as well as valuation services primarily for estates and buy-sell agreements. Bill has been a guest speaker on various tax topics and an instructor of numerous undergraduate and graduate-level business classes at Shenandoah University and Shepherd University. In addition to his client responsibilities, Bill serves as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Tax Committee.
