Mark has provided accounting, consulting, tax planning, and preparation of tax returns to individual clients and a variety of business clients for over 25 years. He performs reviews and compilations along with preparation of financial statements for mainly closely-held businesses. He also prepares consolidated tax returns with multiple states. His industry specialties include real estate, transportation, and manufacturing.

In addition to his above responsibilities, Mark is a member of the firm’s State & Local Tax (SALT) Committee, which provides internal training and research for firm personnel and clients.

Prior to joining SEK, Mark worked for 17 years at a local regional accounting firm and 5 years as a manager at an international accounting firm. In his prior roles, he also performed audits of employee benefit plans and prepared financial statements for those plans.
