Attention college students! Are you interested in the world of client services and curious about the life of a public accountant? We invite you to ExploreSEK!
Immerse yourself in this two-day summer program held in Chambersburg, PA designed for exceptional college students who are considering a career in public accounting. ExploreSEK provides the opportunity to learn more about the accounting profession and our firm – SEK, CPAs & Advisors.
This fun and engaging program allows you to:
- Gain insights on a variety of topics related to the accounting profession
- Participate in fun team-building activities
- Give back to the community through a service project
- Network with SEK professionals, including Managers and Partners
- Experience SEK’s collaborative and innovative culture
- Develop friendships with other future-focused college students
The 2024 program will be held on Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6 at F&M Bank Training Facility, located at 1500 Nitterhouse Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17201. SEK to cover two-night hotel stay for students traveling an hour or more for the program. Applications are due by April 30.
Program participants often extend their journey by stepping into roles as tax or audit interns following the program. Since the launch of ExploreSEK in 2018, SEK has welcomed 17 program participants into roles as interns or full-time staff members!

Eligibility Requirements
- Incoming college freshman, sophomore, or junior
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Current or expected accounting major and/or relevant field
- Have a significant interest in professional services and a career in business
- Continuously distinguished in the classroom, on campus, and in the community
